How do I know if a student has dyslexia?

Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty (or difference) - SpLD. In very simple terms it is a difference in the way that the brain processes information; therefore it can have a big impact on the way that a student learns in the classroom.

The initial challenge for you as a teacher is to be able to recognise the signs of dyslexia, to have an understanding of what it is and the challenges that your students with dyslexia may face.

This is what you need to know.
